Steven Chizen recently filed a lawsuit in Alameda County Superior Court on behalf of a pregnant employee who was terminated for requesting to take her legally protected maternity leave. More information can be found here:
Steven looks forward to litigating this case in court. He wants all employees to be able to take protected leave under the California Family Rights Act (CFRA) and federal Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) without fear of retaliation.
